Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for installation of furniture at client sites.
    • Communicates throughout the day to PROVEN HQ and clients on proact status.
    • Delivers product to include loading/unloading trucks
    • Ability to read and understand space plans, blueprints, elevations and architectural/furniture symbol
    • Understands basic systems furniture electrical component installation
    • Maintains effective customer service for all internal and external customers always.
    • Be capable of loading, unloading, and moving heavy bulky furniture and equipment or expensive, delicate computer equipment using proper techniques.
    • Utilize knowledge of standard practices of furniture and equipment, pull and stage equipment for shipment to various sites, package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork.

    Load and unload materials and equipment on to loading docks, trucks, or storage areas.

    • Be mobile and move between buildings/work areas without assistance.
    • Work on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
    • Readily complete all duties as assigned.
    • Be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and Department of Motor Vehicle
    • Able to operate in a professional manner at all times
