    The Opportunity
Join BAE Systems' Air & Space Force Solutions and be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who solves some of the world's most complex technical challenges. There is never a dull moment on this strategic effort, a cornerstone for the nation’s security! The 'Sentinel' Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, the first of its kind in over 50 years. This program is considered a “mega-project” and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new ICBM weapon system acquisition effort brings with it the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075. As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides Advisory and Assistance Services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor.

    The Role
BAE Systems is looking for a Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst accountable to the Integration Support Contract (ISC) to support the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile program for the United States Air Force. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment, engaging directly with stakeholders to implement, enhance, and support GIS solutions.
    Daily responsibilities include:
    • Developing GIS WebApps, Dashboards, and maps to support the Government Customer
    • Performing data management tasks such as reviewing, maintaining, creating, and analyzing geospatial data in accordance with Air Force standards
    • Creating automation tools such as scripts and queries to support geospatial data review and integration between different stakeholder systems
    • Assisting in the development of standard policies and procedures for digital engineering
    • Utilizing Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments to analyze and manage geospatial data
    • Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to gather digital engineering requirements for application development
    • Integrating new geospatial tools and technologies with existing systems to provide innovative solutions to the Government Customer
