The Engineering Intern assists the GIS and Engineering staff with development, application and the completion of various GIS projects. The Engineering Intern is provided with an opportunity to gain valuable training, experience and insight to municipal GIS and mapping techniques.
The job requires the ability to maintain a collaborative and cooperative working relationship with elected and appointed officials, other City employees, other organizations, and the general public. The work environment will include inside conditions and outdoor weather conditions, including on a variety of terrain. This position performs both office and field work.
