Job Overview

The LFG Project Manager will lead and build a team of landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) technicians who perform routine operation and maintenance (O&M) of GCCS in our Greensboro, NC office. This position is available to an experienced landfill gas technician fluent in GCCS O&M, including compliance monitoring and optimization of GCCS and gas quality for beneficial use or best management practices, who has the drive and desire to make an impact in the Carolinas. The LFG Project Manager will be responsible for leading and growing our business throughout North and South Carolina, mentoring staff, and managing projects, all of which will enable LaBella to provide sustainable, cost-effective solutions for our solid waste clients.

Duties

• O&M at landfill flare stations, troubleshooting of system components, compliance monitoring as part of air permitting programs (Title V)
• Collecting and maintaining sensitive data, providing data reports,
• Experience with GCCS repairs and HDPE pipe welding
• Manage internal and external (consultant or contractor) company resources.
• Organize and execute routine communications with area team and management.
• Support air program/permit engineers, legal, and environmental managers in responding to and resolving any regulatory issues pertaining to LFG/GCCS operations.
• Supervision of LFG Technicians
• Mentorship of LFG Technicians.
