The Global Supply Chain Manager position is a key contributor to achieving our Supply Chain vision, aligning to S&OP best practices, understanding how best to leverage MRP, and delivering best practices for procuring, receiving,  storing, and shipping products.  The role reports directly to the  Director of Supply Chain and contributes significantly to the team’s achievement by gathering/evaluating data and collaborating with the inventory team to maintain company inventory targets to meet or exceed our customers’ needs.  In addition, this person will work to minimize both warehouse/distribution costs and reduce distressed inventory.  

The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the company's forecast planning function using historical sales, new and lost distribution changes, customer inventory levels, and input on future promotional activities.  This role requires cross-functional collaboration and is high touch in aligning with our analytics and KPIs, which will enable us to meet the company plan.  
 

You will have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other related area.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience with a combination of import logistics, sales forecasting, and KPIs/analytics; consumer-packaged goods industry experience is preferred but not required.

• Understanding and knowledge of demand and supply chain (end-to-end) management, market trends, and inventory management, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience with ERP systems, Oracle/Netsuite a plus.
• Proficiency in using technology tools that enable supply planning and reporting.
• Ability to manage demand planning files to ensure accuracy; activity monitor and adjust model allocation as needed based on current trend analysis.
• Experience in handling multiple priorities and ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Strong business acumen related to inventory management and display curiosity to expand knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively across functionally and among different levels as well as building strong relationships with our vendors.
• Negotiation skills that help drive profitability in supply chain.

• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
