Gas Supply Manager manages the supply and purchase of natural gas to meet company needs. Negotiates contracts with approved sources to maintain adequate supply and ensure favorable terms. Being a Gas Supply Manager forecasts change in prices in order to maintain company fuel investments. Coordinates proper transportation and storage of gas supplies. Additionally, Gas Supply Manager maintains business relationships with suppliers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Gas Supply Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Gas Supply Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Bulk Distribution Terminal Manager

  • Position Summary Manages the distribution of bulk cryogenic products to ensure a safety first, customer focused operation at the least cost. Establishes and controls standards of preventative maintenance, equipment repair and replacement. Manages bulk distribution personnel located within the regional area of responsibility. Represents regional interests with the Divisions Transportation and Logistics team, and implements Company and divisional initiatives at the regional level.

    Position Accountabilities

    1. Drive safety through implementation of national and regional safety programs and initiatives. Champion safety and compliance in the region.

    2. Conduct accident and injury investigations.

    3. Train and provide qualified drivers and resources to meet daily schedule requirements.

    4. Manage the hours of service for all drivers and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

    5. Improve the overall profitability of the organization through reduction in cost to deliver.

    6. Manage maintenance programs for distribution vehicles and equipment.

    7. Monitor and manage cost to maintain an effective operation against budget.

    8. Administration management to include, payroll and customer billing.

    9. Work with and support area sales and production efforts.

    1. Must have a strong coaching and developing skills

    2. Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA and hazardous material regulations

    3. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

    4. Ability to communicate effectively

    Required Experience:

    1. College degree preferred

    2. Cryogenic distribution experience a plus

    3. 5 to 10 year's transportation experience with at least 3 years in supervisory role
