Gas Supply Manager manages the supply and purchase of natural gas to meet company needs. Negotiates contracts with approved sources to maintain adequate supply and ensure favorable terms. Being a Gas Supply Manager forecasts change in prices in order to maintain company fuel investments. Coordinates proper transportation and storage of gas supplies. Additionally, Gas Supply Manager maintains business relationships with suppliers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Gas Supply Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Gas Supply Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Senior Manager Finance, Supply Chain will partner with Sabra’s Supply Chain and RD&S leaders and their teams to manage the financial performance of the Supply Chain (Procurement, Plant Operations, and Logistics) and drive product profitability for new and existing SKUs.  This position will play a critical part in helping to identify opportunities to improve performance and ensure the organization meets or exceeds its financial and efficiency goals.  Specifically, the person in this role will model, forecast, and analyze the financial performance of the Supply Chain and report progress relative to goals.  Based on the analysis, the person in this role will identify root causes for deviations from forecasted performance and create insightful recommendations to drive process improvements.

    Dip Into Your Role

    • Build financial models to analyze current processes, generate insights, and estimate the value of potential ideas under consideration
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain leaders and their teams to prioritize opportunities, define implementation requirements, track progress, and highlight deviations to plan
    • Develop cost estimates for new product innovations to support product launch decisions
    • Develop tools to understand cost and efficiency opportunities and create should-cost models with third party suppliers
    • Partner with IT and business partners to develop data sources and reports to improve understanding of the financial impact of operational performance
    • Manage and improve month-end close processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
    • Prepare monthly cost review presentations and conduct monthly review meetings with functional leaders to analyze drivers of performance and share insights of future risks and opportunities
    • Manage the Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Forecast processes with business partners
    • Educate business partners on finance processes and the potential financial impact of operational changes

    Recipe for Success

    • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or related field required, MBA or master’s in accounting preferred
    • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in a Finance role, preferred within a manufacturing plant environment or CPG industry
    • Independent thought-leader; self-motivated and self-directed work style; ability to work with a diverse team
    • Ability to thrive in a high paced work environment, pay close attention to detail and meet business-driven deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate clear direction and influence others
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, work with large sums of data, modeling); solid PowerPoint skills
    • Knowledge of SAP or general ERP system experience
    • Sounds understanding of the complexity of business issues faced internally and externally
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
