Salary: Based on experience.

We are looking for an effective Inside Sales Associate to help walk in customers with any questions or needs they may have, to answer any questions that may arise in regards to our products and services. This position would require the ability to communicate effectively with customers about our numerous products we offer. This person will also be performing the job duties of receiving inventory, warehousing and distribution operations. You will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of a wide variety of welding supply, industrial supply and safety products. Delivery driving will be a possibility when needed. Ultimately, you should be highly organized and able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Perform receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Maintain layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with storage database system
• Support Inside Sales in the Retail Store
• Possible need for delivery of goods

Skills

• Proven work experience in warehouse operations
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• General computer/technology knowledge, proficiency with MS Office is a bonus
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and place 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a Work Steps preemployment evaluation
• Class A or B license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
