General Responsibilities:

You will be helping to design, construct, and finish remodeling and general upkeep projects within the factory.

Specific Responsibilities:

- General Labor Skills

• Promote and ensure good Health Safety Environment practices are followed
• Skilled in General Carpentry
• Installing structures and fixtures
• Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors and doorframes
• Repairing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Cleaning and repairing areas of the building utilizing scissor lifts and air tools and other equipment.
• Able to read, understand, and follow Blueprints and or other design documents
• General Plumbing Skills
• Cleaning and repairing sewer lines
• Installing Pipes for Gas, water, and other liquids
• Comfortable accessing confined spaces
• Manual Dexterity
• Electrical Skills
• Experience using electrical tools, calibration equipment and completing wiring.
• Testing existing wiring for safety and quality control and diagnosing issues.
• Experience following schematics or wire schedules.
• Experience with Control Panel Assembly
• Heavy lifting is required at times (weight can vary from 5 lbs. to 85 lbs.)
• Meet daily production demands while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Use of various hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, impact guns, air-powered tools)
• Use of various equipment including but not limited to Forklift, Scissor lift,
• Basic material handling, moving material from storage area to area of operation.
• Effectively communicate information within your team

Qualifications:

· Industry Expertise

o Three to five years’ experience in general construction

o Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and general construction tools

o Understanding of Blueprints and plans

o Forklift / Scissor lift and general construction equipment experience.

· People Person

• Have a good sense of humor and be generally upbeat

o Good Oral, written, and in-person communication skills. must possess diplomacy and tact.

· Ability to work under pressure with limited resources, completing priorities and deadlines

· Able to Lift 65 lbs. or more with teamwork when necessary

· Able to work weekends and off-shift

Skills and Experience Preferred:

• Experience in the outdoor market helpful

Work Environment:

When performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a dusty environment.

The employee also regularly works with mechanical parts or tools.

Workers must also pay attention at all times, as assembly line tools and machinery can potentially inflict serious injury as the result of negligence or breakdown.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
