General Laborer jobs in Chillicothe, OH

Looking for experience laborers that lives in the Columbus area. Our office is in Circleville, but most of the work will be in Columbus. Our company replace and install fiber optic for telecommunication work. Must be able do manual labor and work outdoors. Wages depends on experience. CDL drivers is a big plus and will be added to the pay rate.

Skills and Duties

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact earth to grade specifications, using shovels and other equipment.
• Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools; distribute to appropriate locations, according to project plans.
• Setup traffic control around work zones; flag oncoming traffic to ensure safety during lane closures.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate movement of equipment.
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades or other temporary structures.
• Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• May operate light equipment, such as bobcats, air compressors, pneumatic air tools, and other equipment as necessary.
• Operate motor vehicles during travel to/from jobsites.
• CDL is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
