Maintenance Trainee

SUMMARY: Entry-level position assisting facilities manager and maintenance staff with general upkeep of agency facilities. Must have good attendance and willingness to learn.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: GED or high school diploma required. Familiarity with hand and/or power tools preferred.

REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must possess valid driver's license with insurable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to pass DCF Level II Background Screening.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Long and unusual hours are sometimes required, a company cellphone must be carried, working outside in the elements may be required, working around with emotionally disturbed consumers is a possibility (Baker Act receiving facility). Rotating paid on-call.
