Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance professional to join our team. As a General Maintenance, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a full-time position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for larger maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in general facilities maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and tenants
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise contractors and other maintenance personnel
- Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge is required
