Spectrum Environmental, Inc., is currently seeking a Staff Geologist in the Alabaster,  Alabama area. This full-time position will report to Spectrum’s Alabaster, Alabama Manager and is expected to perform the duties summarized below.

Essential Duties and Qualifications

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Soil and groundwater sampling
• Geologic Evaluations
• Task/Project management and coordination
• Other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor.

 Environment:

Work is performed primarily in an outdoor field environment; travel from site to site; exposure to noise, dust, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain.
