    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct geotechnical investigations, including drilling, sampling, and testing of soils and rocks at various renewable energy project sites across the United States. • Prepare site investigation reports that detail the findings and recommendations for engineering design to ensure the safety and stability of renewable energy structures. • Work with other professionals, including engineers and geologists, to analyze and interpret the data collected during field investigations to support the development of renewable energy projects.
    • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential geotechnical issues and provide recommendations to ensure the safety and stability of renewable energy structures.
    • Develop and implement testing plans to evaluate the strength and stability of soil and rock formations at renewable energy project sites.
    • Maintain accurate records of field investigations and testing results. • Communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and project managers, to support the successful implementation of renewable energy projects.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations across all renewable energy project sites.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or related degree
    • Relevant work experience in geotechnical field investigations, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
    • Familiarity with industry-standard geotechnical testing equipment and software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States to work on renewable energy project sites.
    • Ability to work in the field under various weather conditions and terrain.
    • Understanding of renewable energy technology and industry trends is a plus.

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 85 lbs.
    • Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
