    We work on a wide variety of exciting projects involved with the investigation, characterization and remediation of sites with contaminated soil, groundwater, vapor and sediment; due diligence investigation and reporting; water quality monitoring; compliance and risk assessment / risk management for commercial and governmental clients.

    We are looking for a Licensed Professional Geologist to join our team to take on both existing, and new projects. The ideal Geologist will be responsible for Writing Proposals, Scheduling (and performing some) Field Work, Site Characterization, Remediation, and Reporting, all while keeping health, safety and budgetary considerations in mind.

    Typical Activities:

    • SCR, RACR, RAP and Final Report preparation, review, submittal.
    • Soil, Groundwater, Surface Water and Vapor Field Sampling Activities conducted in a safe and timely manner.
    • AST/UST System Closure Oversight & Site Assessments conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
    • Remedial Pilot Testing activities such as slug testing, specific capacity testing, pump test, and SVE tests.
    • Remediation including design, system operation and maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.
    • Completion of contaminant fate and transport analysis & risk assessments. Detailed documentation of fieldwork and report preparation.
    • Management of Subcontractors.

    Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences or similar.
    • Licensed Professional Geologist (Pennsylvania)
    • Experience in field data collection, data review and preparation of reports.
    • 10 years of environmental consulting experience.
    • Knowledge of environmental regulations, remediation and reporting requirements.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • OSHA Hazwoper 40-hour certification.
