Job Responsibilities:

• Works without risk or harm to self or others
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures.
• Safely operate both on and off-road vehicles.
• Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards.

Requirements:

• 3 years or more experience core logging and sampling experience
• B.S. in Geology or similar field
• Knowledge of siliciclastic depositional environments
• Knowledge of skarn Cu/Au mineralization in porphyry environment.
• The individual should demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the day
• Software experience including Leapfrog and Acquire preferred
• Previous mining experience preferred
• Compile and interpret mapping and assay information in 3-D software and correlate it with existing models
• Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team
• Surface MSHA is preferred
• Requires a valid driver's license
