    ARM Group LLC is seeking a Project Manager/Geophysicist to join the Geophysics practice area located in our Hershey, Pennsylvania office. We are a dynamic and growing surface and borehole geophysical services provider serving the environmental, water resources, geotechnical, solid waste, and oil & gas markets.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Be an integral part of the team that performs and provides project management and technical support for the following geophysical services/surveys: Electrical resistivity, Seismic (MASW, refraction, reflection), Electromagnetic (EM-31, EM-61, etc.), Ground-penetrating radar (GPR), Non-destructive testing (NDT), Magnetics, and Gravity/Micro-gravity.
    • Cross-functionally support ARM Group LLC’s various business lines (Solid Waste, Oil & Gas, Geotechnical, Environmental, Water Resources) and clients.
    • Manage multiple projects from inception to completion using demonstrated project management experience.
    • Prepare reports, client communications, contract documents, etc. and consults with other internal partners as needed.
    • Prepare client invoices, track project budgets and projections.
    • Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems on non-routine nature and develop effective solutions.
    • Mentor junior staff fostering growth and development through multi-disciplinary project experiences.
    • Act as the direct point of contact in communication with clients and stakeholders.
    Job Requirements

    What We Are Looking For:

    • Bachelors’ degree in geophysics, geology, or a related discipline.
    • Licensure as a Pennsylvania Professional Geologist (PG).
    • 6 years of experience in geophysical & geological projects, including field work (data acquisition), data processing, inversion modeling, and reporting.
    • Competency with geophysical data processing software, GIS / mapping applications
    • Knowledge of local and state environmental regulations, including but not limited to PA, MD, and NJ
    • Experienced with Office 365 Suite.
    • Excellent communication and public speaking skills: articulate, assertive, and confident.
    • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple, complex tasks.
    • Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills who is ambitious and eager to grow.
    • Detail-oriented and thorough, with a strong work ethic and self-motivated mentality.
    • Must have a strong technical competency and analytical ability.
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with key stakeholders.
    • Must be able to work independently and collaborate with peers when appropriate.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
    • Some overnight travel required.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • Master’s degree geophysics, geology, or a related discipline.
    • Ability to write simple computer applications using Python, MS Excel, Visual Basic, scripts, or other languages.
