Geotechnical Engineer I Salary: $5,245/ month*
Geotechnical Engineer II Salary: $5,824/ month
Geotechnical Engineer III Salary: $7,032/ month
*Applicants who anticipate receiving their degree by April/May of 2025 are eligible to apply; the start date is flexible.
Summary of Work
Linear Soils Surveys and Recommendations:
Conducted on roadway improvement, reconstruction, and realignment projects:
Deep Foundation Investigations and Reports:
Conducted in areas where a structure is to be constructed, large embankment fills and any other areas that require in-situ soil properties.
Landslide Investigations and Recommendations:
Conducted to investigate, monitor, develop and implement a mitigation plan.
Intra-Divisional Support and Investigations:
Respond to geotechnical questions and issues both in the field and during project development process.
Geotechnical Studies and Research:
Ensure that section practices are in accordance with the State of the Practice in the Geotechnical Field.
