Duties:

- Install glass in windows, skylights, storefronts, and other structures
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
- Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for installation
- Caulk and seal joints to ensure a watertight and airtight seal
- Install metal stud framing and cabinet systems as required
- Assemble and fabricate glass components as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
- Perform trim carpentry work to finish installations
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Lift and carry heavy glass panels and materials as necessary

Experience:

- Previous experience as a glazier or in a related construction field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
