Being a Government Affairs Manager performs ongoing monitoring and analysis of proposed legislation, emerging issues, and trends to determine the potential impact on the organization. Collaborates with industry groups and organizations with complementary objectives to achieve objectives. Additionally, Government Affairs Manager creates communication vehicles and delivers messaging to inform and support business leaders. Flock Safety is looking for an experienced Government Affairs Manager to join our External Affairs team. This role will be based in the Southeast and require regular travel. You will be responsible for policy engagement and strategy development within your region, including direct interactions with government officials, managing outside consultants, developing partnerships with third-party stakeholders, and building coalitions to help fully realize our public policy priorities. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of public safety working with a variety of external and internal cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have an established political and public affairs network in the Southeast United States, with experience working in emerging technology, transportation, privacy, or public safety.

💰 Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $110,000 to $135,000 as well as stock options
