Government Affairs Representative supports the implementation of strategic plans and engagement objectives to develop and maintain productive relations with all levels of government authorities to achieve business goals. Liaises with government entities (federal, state, provincial, or local) that regulate or influence business activities. Being a Government Affairs Representative collaborates with industry groups and organizations with complementary objectives to achieve objectives. Monitors and analyses proposed legislation, emerging issues, and trends and prepare reports and informational documents to inform and support business leaders. Additionally, Government Affairs Representative requires a bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, business or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Government Affairs Representative work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. What to expect as a Business Affairs Intern at Tombras:
Commitment to an 8 week, paid internship, $18 an hour starting on 6/3/24 and ending on 7/26/24 with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
Learn the fundamentals of the complete Production process from RFP all the way through Post production from a BA perspective.
Assisting with administrative tasks.
Attending creative meetings and note taking.
Drafting of talent releases amongst other production.
Provide weekly recap reports for the team.
Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
\nExperience:
Candidates should have prior work or life experience in a relevant field, be currently enrolled as a Senior in a Bachelor’s program, or a recent graduate with a major in Media, Marketing, Advertising, or similar field (a degree is not required) A passion for advertising and an eagerness to tell a story and a gift for making people see it.
Proficiency in a Mac environment and experience in Microsoft Excel, GoBogle Docs and Keynote.
You work well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment.You must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.You possess strong written and verbal communication skills This internship is based in our Knoxville office.
