Government Sales Representative develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services to government agencies. Maintains and nurtures relationships with government customers. Being a Government Sales Representative prospects for new business opportunities. Meets or exceeds sales goals. Additionally, Government Sales Representative may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Government Sales Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
