Traveling Heavy Equipment Scraper Operator

Growing your career as a full-time Traveling Heavy Equipment Scraper Operator is an incredible opportunity to join a long-standing family owned and operated company in Canon City, CO. This position requires working in all types of weather including but not limited to high and low temperatures, wind, snow, and rain. This position is very physical and the selected applicant should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, shovel, climb up and down, use ladders, bend, crawl, stoop, push, pull, reach overhead, and twist as appropriate.

Full-time

Pay: $23-$38/hr. Depends on experience

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate scraper

· Move, Haul, and grade material 

· Inspect equipment before and after use

· Communicate the need for maintenance or repair

· Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in civil construction, truck driving, or other related fields

· Strong work ethic

· Previous experience operating scrapers

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Must have reliable transportation and current Driver's License

· Must pass a pre-employment and random drug screens
