Position Summary
The Coordinator – Clinical Education is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the activities associated with clinical orientation and education for SWMC team members. Will work with department directors on all orientation, education and continuing education to ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards. Will work with schools and facilities of higher learning to develop student orientation and rotation programs at SWMC.
Service/Quality Excellence:
Participates in and supports SWMC’s Service Excellence Program designed to improve patient care, team member and physician satisfaction. Participation includes knowledge and understanding of HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Systems and Providers), which measures patients’ perceptions of care received and Core Measure Set, which measures performance of patients’ care based on medical research. RN license- State of Oklahoma
Education:
Registered nurse with a Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field. Masters preferred.
Experience:
Prefer one- year experience in health care education and/or training.
