Grants Administrator administers the financial control processes of grant activity throughout the grant lifecycle for awarded or received grants to ensure compliance with grant provisions, regulations, standards, timelines, and reporting requirements. Monitors grantee management and disbursement of funds and reviews grantee programs for compliance with the terms of grants. Being a Grants Administrator prepares and submits financial reporting and performs accounting tasks related to managing grant funding received. Tracks and reconciles grant account budgets and expenses. Additionally, Grants Administrator submits any additional information or documentation required by the grant funder. Follows grant accounting best practices and complies with legal regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Grants Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Director of Grants is primarily responsible for assisting the Branch Executive Director in researching, writing, and procuring grants and overseeing the management, data collection and reporting processes of the assigned programs, including but not limited to intake, client and program participation, survey creation and dissemination; and the collation and creation of cumulative reports. This individual will report on and use data outcomes to assist in program improvement, inform community partners, donors, and funders, as well as other stake holders for sustainability and to bring awareness through supportive data to the work the program is doing for its clients. This individual will give oversight to the program data management personnel and grant writing across programs in collaboration with the Executive Branch Director, Program Supervisors and/or Program Directors. This includes but is not limited to quality assurance, program fidelity, financial compliance and other data management staff who are responsible for research material and the accurate input, procurement, and maintenance of program statistical and reporting data in an efficient and timely manner.
This position is expected to function effectively with minimal supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory guidelines.
