Being a Grants/Contracts Specialist - Higher Ed. supports grant writers in understanding the complex proposal requirements from governmental agencies and institutions. Maintains an overall grant calendar and uses project management tools to track all grant activity and timelines. Additionally, Grants/Contracts Specialist - Higher Ed. prepares financial accounting or reporting required for grants. Performs quality reviews, proofreading, and validation of proposals for completeness and compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.
