The Higher Standard Montana is actively recruiting to fill the position for a Sales Associate at our Helena location. We are looking for reliable and intrinsically motivated individuals with a desire to grow with us in the rapidly evolving cannabis industry. Applicants must be dependable and detail oriented, with the ability to learn and adapt to the needs of this fast paced industry.
Our Sales Associates are responsible for retail store and day to day operations including, but not limited to, outstanding customer service, inventory, precise record keeping, prepackaging, and maintaining our retail standards.
This position is ideal for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, reliable, and thrives in a fast paced environment. Successful applicants must also demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt in a successful growing dispensary.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Complying with ALL MT State rules and regulations
2. Excellent customer service to include greeting each customer warmly and listening compassionately to their individual needs
3. Educating customers on all products and paraphernalia to support the needs they’ve shared; including, but not limited to, the different cannabis strains, terpenes, use and results
4. Ensuring the store is clean and inventory is stocked and organized appropriately, including prepackaging needs
5. Ability to work in a team environment through effective communication and arriving to scheduled shifts on time
6. Accurately maintain inventory and proper record keeping through various entities within the industry standards
7. Maintain professionalism through appearance/hygiene and conduct
Qualifications:
1. Licensed by the State of MT as an active Agent (or ability to obtain one with 30 days) and meet the requirements set forth by The State of MT to work in a dispensary
2. Previous retail or medical management experience preferred
3. Must be dependable, trustworthy, approachable, outgoing, and motivated
4. Effectively communicate and work in a team environment
5. Superior cash handling skills
Our operating hours are Monday through Sunday 11am to 8pm. Wage will start at $15 per hour.
