We have an opening for an experienced Architect or Project Designer who specializes in roofing to join our Higher Education studio. This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. What you’ll be doing:

• Design and production work specifically in roofing,
• Working closely with studio leaders and junior design staff to make sure projects are completed on time and within budget,
• Serving as the client’s primary point of contact for smaller projects,
• Being involved in all aspects of the design process, including internal and external team meetings, from concept through construction administration,
• Coordinating with internal and external project team members, engineers, and consultants in a timely fashion, with professionalism and compassion,
• Produce drawings in Revit.

What you need:

• Bachelors or Masters degree from an NAAB-accredited institution,
• 5 years of professional architecture experience specifically in roofing,
• Professional licensure or working towards licensure,
• Proficiency in Revit,
• Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365,
• A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner,
• The willingness to travel, as there will be travel required.
