We have an opening for an experienced Architect or Project Designer who specializes in roofing to join our Higher Education studio. In this studio, we fundamentally believe in the Ask, Listen, Create mantra, which we use every day to deliver successful projects. This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.     What you’ll be doing:

    • Design and production work specifically in roofing,
    • Working closely with studio leaders and junior design staff to make sure projects are completed on time and within budget,
    • Serving as the client’s primary point of contact for smaller projects,
    • Being involved in all aspects of the design process, including internal and external team meetings, from concept through construction administration,
    • Coordinating with internal and external project team members, engineers, and consultants in a timely fashion, with professionalism and compassion,
    • Produce drawings in Revit.

    What you need:

    • Bachelors or Masters degree from an NAAB-accredited institution,
    • 5 years of professional architecture experience specifically in roofing,
    • Professional licensure or working towards licensure,
    • Proficiency in Revit,
    • Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365,
    • A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner,
    • The willingness to travel, as there will be travel required.
