Gas station manager is responsible for making a station stand out from the rest by carrying out specific duties to keep it running as smoothly as possible.Gas Station Manager Responsibilities
The primary purpose of a gas station is to allow consumers to refuel their cars. Additionally, a station can also be part service station and part convenience store. A station manager is responsible for meeting all customer needs, whether they are fueling up, getting an oil change or buying snacks. Managers interact with the public and work alongside their employees. Sometimes, their shifts can be long, as they often open or close the station.A station manager is in charge of day-to-day operations, which can include inventory, employee scheduling, hiringand training, ordering and receiving supplies and offering promotions. Mangers also create and meet budgets, maintain pumps and fuel supply and regularly report to company executives. In addition to basic operations, a manager must ensure that safety protocols are followed by both employees and customers and keep an eye on fuel prices, which fluctuate daily according to the market, and apply those prices to the gas sold at the station.

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
