Ensures each grant-writing project complies with the funder's policies, formats, timelines, reporting, and legal requirements. Additionally, Grants/Proposal Writer may participate in the negotiation of contractual provisions with potential partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Grants/Proposal Writer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - Self-motivated, with the ability to manage scheduling and multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines, mentor others and be a team leader.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, MS Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Prepares technical documents for a wide range of highly complex building project types (multi-family, commercial, mixed use, etc.)
