Job Description:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing the incoming and outgoing inventory of the organization. This includes receiving, inspecting, stocking, and transferring deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection:

• Accept and inspect incoming deliveries for order and product accuracy.
• Unload trucks with precision and care.
• Report any discrepancies in deliveries promptly and accurately.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain and update inventory records, keeping them accurate and up to date.
• Count and verify materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock regularly.
• Resolve any discrepancies between physical counts and computer records efficiently.

Organization and Stocking:

• Ensure items are stored correctly, optimizing space and accessibility.
• Organize inventory in the stockroom for easy retrieval.
• Stock and distribute supplies, equipment, or merchandise to various departments or manufacturers.
• Order Processing
• Check with vendors to ensure orders arrive on time.
• Process returns, following established procedures.
• Order resupply materials for items distributed to manufacturers as needed.

Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with the team to develop or improve inventory management procedures.
• Suggest and implement efficiency-enhancing measures within the inventory control process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• While prior experience is a plus, we are open to providing training for the ideal candidate.

Physical Requirements: This position will require lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to a certain weight limit. Candidates must be physically capable of performing these tasks.

Working Conditions: The Receiving/Inventory Clerk will primarily work in a warehouse or stockroom environment. They may also need to interact with vendors, team members, and other departments as necessary to fulfill their duties.

Schedule: Full Time – 4 day work week!

• Day shift
• Monday to Thursday
• 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $18 per year per hour. Opportunity for growth
