Graphic Design Specialist jobs in Passaic, NJ

Basic Purpose

Requires a highly organized and savvy person to take ownership of our social media presence and create engaging and impactful content that aligns with our company’s brand, as well as packaging development, branding, marketing collateral, advertising, social media, photoshoots, website development, and any other marketing activities as needed by the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create general marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, ads, sales flyers, videos, etc., as well as trade show displays and buildouts.
• Help to develop and execute creative designs for product packaging (foodservice and retail sectors)
• Develop content copy for social media, while implementing and evolving the company's voice
• Manage corporate website design
• Proof packaging, publication ads and other material as needed
• Create and maintain a social media content calendar
• Own the social media posting/scheduling for all content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
• Responsible for post design (where applicable)
• Organize and assist in marketing events such as trade shows, food-shows and conferences (several per year).
• Develop and design trade ads and publications
• Work with sales leadership to create and design sales presentation materials
• Assist in the design and development of email ads and e-vites to events and trade shows

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• An upbeat and can-do attitude (this can't be overstated!)
• Strong writing skills with an emphasis on professional presentation but also engagement
• The ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
• Thorough attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Graphic design expertise (using Adobe Suite)
• Good knowledge and/or open to learning website platforms
• Ability to use discretion and good business judgment

Education & Experience

• Graphic Design experience
• Must have worked within a food company in this capacity
• Required - Strong Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop are a must)
• Preferred – 2 years managing social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
