LEAD DESIGNER/ PRODUCTION ARTIST
Atlantis Sportswear, Inc. located in Piqua, OH is currently looking for a Lead Designer/ Production Artist. Responsibilities include creating licensed graphics and overseeing of the pre-press process for apparel. This position requires direct contact with our customers to build and separate art work for professional leagues, such as, NHL, NBA and NCAA teams along with custom designs for schools, companies, individuals and events. These graphics develop quickly and need to be submitted to licensing for fast turnaround approvals before final production. The candidate must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment with very short lead times. Candidate must have an Associate degree or higher and prior experience with screen print art work and separation. Experience
· Artwork separation, the use of spot colors, pantones and chokes
· Review artwork pre-press for mistakes to ensure art work is press ready
· High End separations, simulated process and editing with Channels in Photoshop
· Knowledge of artwork sizing, design, layout and placements for customer approvals
· Preparing artwork for direct to screen printer a plus
· Adobe Creative Suite 6, Illustrator CC, Photo Shop CS5, Separation Studio, In Design and Excel
· Ability to work with customers and sales team by email and phone in a professional manner to ensure we meet all of their artwork needs
