Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. BASIC FUNCTION:
For the Database of Economic Incentive’s: Responsible for the front-end user interface (UI) of ESD’s Database of Economic Incentives database and partnering with backend development to ensure that the front and back-ends work together as expected. Applicant must possess a proficient knowledge of current programming languages and be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Duties will include application programming, system installation/maintenance, diagnostics/performance monitoring, end user support, system disaster recovery, application testing and documentation as well as to provide technical assistance in any other area of IT as directed by department managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level required: BA in an IT related discipline with minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field; Or a 2-year degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience; Or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Relevant experience required: Extensive experience in an Application Development role.
Knowledge required: Experience in UI Designing and development, Front End development, Strong proficiency, Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 , Microsoft SQL Server 2016 , C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript (jQuery Angular), CSS, Mobile IOS and Android development, Azure and cloud-based architecture, Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Operating Systems. Experience with Dynamics SDK, Dynamics Plugins, Application API (REST, Oauth), Crystal Reports 11.x and HTML 5 is helpful; Ability to work with a diverse group of people at both a functional and technical level and communicate at a level appropriate to audience; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Strong written and verbal communication skills.
