Technical Focus Areas
This position is focused on research, prototyping, and integration of Command and Control (C2) and Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) capabilities compatible with messaging interfaces such as the Joint Interface Control Document (JICD), Cursor on Target (CoT), and Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA) standards. using Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/ CD) pipeline automation tools and services within our customer’s software development environment. The Role
You will work closely with our team and customers to integrate requirements, articulate challenges and provide solutions. You will be an integral contributor to the development of our Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) Platform as a Service (EPaaS) while collaborating closely with our engineering and development team to prototype and implement new CI/CD pipeline automation and security solutions, capabilities, and features. It will be your responsibility to design and implement interface services as part of EPaaS for use by EMSO professionals across the Department of Defense (DoD). In addition, you will integrate interface services in EPaaS with service EMSO programs of record to provide our warfighters with advanced EMSO capabilities.
The Journeyman Software System Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
updates, appropriately modifying the EMS related processes, procedures, and systems architecture.
This position also requires quarterly travel in support of Program Increment Planning with the customer. Additional travel opportunities are available for further developing customer relationships.
