Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty.   • Provides Quality and statistical information for quality improvement by identifying key characteristics on customers’ parts, the inspection/test methods needed to check those characteristics, and the sampling rate required to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements. Responsible for all engineering aspects of the company Quality function.  Creates CMM programs (from Customer drawings and CAD files), using software, while meeting customer and company quality requirements.  Support all inspection requirements and processes as needed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Review customer order requests compared to previous orders and update Quality documentation as needed.
    • Work closely with engineering team to define all key characteristics and inspection requirements
    • Determine inspection methods to be used from customers’ specifications and/or regulatory requirements/standards.
    • Develop programs for CMM, maximizing quality and output using software.
    • Create user-friendly programs, with focus on ease of use and accuracy
    • Troubleshoot and edit programs as required
    • Provide inspection tooling and fixturing recommendations as applicable
    • Maintain electronic files for all programs
    • Continually works to improve and optimize programs
    • Creates PO requisitions to order inspection items for new jobs
    • Create documentation necessary to inspect parts in inspection and on production floor
    • Create Deliverable Documentation Verification check list based on job router and customer/regulatory requirements
    • Maintain and manage Inspection Equipment Calibration System
    • Stays current with the latest technology and software upgrades
    • Perform safe operation of machines
    • Aids in the development and continuous improvement of procedures
    • Aids in retrieving historical and traceability information for new and previous requests
    • As required, perform cross functional task until appropriate resources are in place
    • Complete all required paperwork
    • Keep work area clean and organized always
    • Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements
    • Provide good feedback and promote good communication
    • Promote and live company culture


    Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent, previous experience preferred
    • Requires great attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and specifications
    • Previous experience CMM programming required 
    • Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensions & Tolerance required
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training/Certification a plus
    • Mechanical Layout experience a plus
