Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing automation projects to improve productivity, quality and consistency.
- Assist with design, planning and execution of automation / robotics in the plant.
- Consistent improvements on assembly equipment by making programming changes in the PLC or other systems to reduce cycle time and increase reliability
- Work with schematics and diagrams for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
- Developing and changing of automation processes through programming the PLC
- Implementing additional vision systems and scanners, setting up communication to the main PLC and integrating it into the code
- Provide higher level of support for maintenance technicians during break down situations through troubleshooting methods
- Developing and executing training for development of other team members
