Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and access control systems.
-Programming of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, Audio Visual and Intrusion Systems, with varying degrees of integration, from basic to highly complex.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
- Run cabling and wiring for various low voltage systems.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific needs and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding system operation and maintenance.
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and configuration of low voltage systems.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in low voltage technology through continuning education, factory training and certifications, industry associations, etc.
Experience:
Required: 3 Years experience in the installation and programming of Access Control, Video Surveillence and Intrustion Systems and / or Integrated Audio Visual Systems. Factory Programming Certification in one or more of the following product lines:
Software House (CCure 9000), Kantech Entrapass, Exaqvision, Victor Video, Salient CompleteView, DSC, Salto, Talkaphone, Bosch, Hanwha Wave VMS, RTI, Q-SYS.
-Knowledge of low voltage principles and practices, including cabling and wiring techniques.
-Mechanical knowledge for installation and maintenance of low voltage equipment.
-Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and computer networking equipment.
-Understanding of security system components and their integration within a larger network.
