Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. SUMMARY: This CNC Programmer position is responsible for programming multi-axis CNC mill-turn lathes and CNC mills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop and maintain new CNC programs.
Optimize current CNC programs using the latest cutting tools and techniques.
Maintain program library.
Select cutting tools, work holding tools and fixtures for new parts.
Create standardized, detailed tool sheets.
Provide support and resolve technical and program issues.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required
5 years’ experience programming multi-axis mill-turn lathes.
Must be able to read and interpret drawings and models with proficiency with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be very detail oriented, organized, have good communication skills and be a team player.
Must be able to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.
Must be hands on and willing to work on the shop floor proving out programs and troubleshooting issues on the machines.
