We are looking for a motivated Interface Engineer with Laboratory Experience who will be responsible for managing and optimizing the integration of medical devices, software systems, and laboratory equipment within our hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both interface engineering and laboratory operations, with a preference for experience with Meditech 6.x or Expanse EHR.
Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in interface engineering, with a focus on healthcare IT systems, hands-on experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably within a healthcare environment. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in interface engines (e.g., HL7, FHIR), programming languages (e.g., SQL), and networking protocols, Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide training and support to end-users.
Preferred: Associate’s degree in a Computer Science or related field, Five (5) or more years of IT experience in a healthcare setting.
