Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement and superb writing and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have either relevant legal experience or industry experience and a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or physics. Experience with software related technology and substantial experience with design patents are a plus.
