Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Perform quality control checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other inspection tools
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming and machining processes
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, including experience with Fanuc controls
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Experience with lathe operations and programming is preferred
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Solid understanding of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Familiarity with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Mechanical knowledge of machining processes and equipment
Skills:
- Proficient in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc controls
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency
- Familiarity with GD&T for accurate interpretation of engineering drawings
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues
