Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI.   • Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level CNC Programmer. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about machining and looking to kickstart their career in CNC programming. No prior experience is required, as we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities:

    • Training: Undergo comprehensive training in CNC programming, machine setup, and operation to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for the role.
    • Programming Assistance: Assist senior CNC programmers in developing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software based on engineering drawings or work orders.
    • Machine Setup: Learn to set up CNC machines, including loading materials, installing cutting tools, and establishing workpiece offsets and reference points.
    • Machine Operation: Gain hands-on experience operating CNC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
    • Quality Control: Assist in conducting quality inspections of machined components using precision measuring instruments, ensuring conformance to specifications.
    • Troubleshooting: Learn to identify and troubleshoot programming or machine issues during the production process, under the guidance of experienced technicians.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling setups, production logs, and quality inspection reports.
    • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
    • All basic knowledge of how to program each of the machines. (Mill, tube laser, Salvagnini lasers, P4.
    • Computer skills.
    • Basic understanding of parameters and various material types. (304SS, G90, A60, Aluminum)
    • Knowledge of how to create laser / mill / Tube laser / P4 program from start to finish.
    • Send over programs to machines through office console.
    • Basic understanding of file paths, and folders for different categories and jobs.
    • Understanding of design BOM’s and parts priorities and how to nest for those priorities.
