Grinder jobs in Des Moines, IA

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm (30 minute lunch break, and two paid 15 minute breaks)

**Metal Polishing experience required**

**Skilled labor with high attention to detail required**

Duties:
-Grind and buff motorcycle handlebars to prepare them for powder coating/chroming
- Inspect parts for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Use specialized equipment to perform grinding and polishing tasks (garboli, buffing machines, belt machines etc.)

-Remove welds using belt machines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal polishing or related field required
- Ability to use specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail required and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

Experience in metal grinding/polishing is required. Must be willing to learn and train on our specific grinding processes. Fat Baggers Inc. is a family owned and operated motorcycle parts manufacturing company located in Chariton, Iowa that stands behind their tradition of “Made in the USA”.
