Cutter/Grinder Operator to work at a premier Aerospace company in

Pay Rate: Up to $24/HR based on Exp. Hours: M-F 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. What’s a typical day as a Cutter/Grinder Operator? You’ll be:
• Sharpening various types of milling cutters, drills, taps or turning tools as required.
• Manufacturing special form relieved cutters.
• Maintaining inventory of cutter grinding supplies.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining maintenance needs.
• Maintaining quality standards and recording quality results.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques to maximize the effective manufacture of distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Be able to determine the kind of tools and equipment they will need in order to do the job properly.
- The skill to conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Watches gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Must be detail oriented and meticulous and have excellent communication skills.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Have full understanding of the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making.
- The Tool Grinder needs the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
- Needs the ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time.
- Needs the ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce viable answers.
