Being a Grinding and Polishing Worker, Hand may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Grinding and Polishing Worker, Hand relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Customer service is a must. Meet and greet every member with a smile and always be of assistance. Arrive at work, check and fuel vessels. Prep all vessels (board vessel, start boat, ensure all system are functional, all safety gear on board vessel, vessel is in proper working order). Assist members and guests on and off boats, assist them with any gear they may have. Complete a thorough checkout via our electronic reservation system on company iPad. Complete a thorough check in/finalization and obtain electronic funds for members fuel consumption. Clean the vessel thoroughly upon return. Answer and field any questions from members via in person or on the phone. Perform light maintenance on vessels to ensure basic safety systems are operational. Our hours are from sunrise to sunset.
