Job Description

The primary function of a Buyer-Grocery Manager is to order all products for sub teams, help support and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

*Order all products for all sub teams in grocery sub teams *Analyze using available reports and data to make purchasing and product mix decision to maximize sales and profit and minimize out of stock, Control spoilage; generate turn movements *Keep current on customer buying patterns and industry trends *Support corporate team seeking out new exciting Locally produced grocery products *Make informed decisions about merchandising while following Happier Grocery guidelines for required sets *Process invoices and returns, Capable of receiving products, *Ensure proper tag maintenance and signs for all items *Maintain clean and organize coolers, freezers and back stock areas *Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measure, health and sanitation, Organics, Dairy/Frozen Temp Log, Country of Origin Logs, and adhere to a safe work practices *Provide the upmost Hospitality

Qualifications

*Minimum 1 year retail grocery or equivalent *Excellent communication skills *Ability to perform physical requirements of position *Ability to work in a cold environments such as dairy walk-ins and freezers *Excellent interpersonal and ability to train *Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Office-Mac, Store Ops systems *Ability to work rotating shifts Monday through Sunday including some holidays *Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department and business

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $25.00 - $28.00/hour.
