Job Description: Join our team at HōM Flats as a Groundskeeper, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our residential communities. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for performing a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of our property grounds.

Responsibilities:

• Landscaping Maintenance: Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, trimming, and watering lawns, shrubs, and flower beds. Maintain landscaped areas to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property and create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

2. Groundskeeping: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of property grounds, including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas. Remove litter, debris, and fallen leaves regularly to ensure a clean and attractive appearance.

3. Outdoor Maintenance: Assist with outdoor maintenance tasks, such as sweeping walkways, clearing snow and ice, and applying de-icing agents during winter months. Ensure that outdoor amenities, such as benches, playgrounds, and recreational areas, are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

4. Trash Collection: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated receptacles throughout the property. Empty trash cans, replace liners, and ensure that trash disposal areas are clean and free of debris.

5. Equipment Operation: Operate landscaping equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power washers, safely and effectively. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while performing groundskeeping duties. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience: Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance preferred. Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment and basic maintenance tasks.

2. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.

3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance of property grounds. Ability to notice and address small issues or areas of concern before they become larger problems.

4. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to achieve common goals. Willingness to assist with other maintenance tasks and projects as needed.

5. Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

6. Customer Service: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors. Willingness to interact positively with residents and respond to their needs and inquiries courteously and professionally.
