Groundskeeper jobs in Kennewick, WA

Our grounds and property are beautiful!!! Would you like to help us keep it nice year-round? We have an opening for a Groundskeeper at our 10-acre senior living community of nearly 240 residents. Visit our current COVID page for updates about our infection prevention accomplishments.

Starting hourly wage is $17.00-18.00 depending upon experience. Overtime is paid for regular hours worked over 8 per day and/or 80 per two-week pay period.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance of lawns, gardens, shrubs, walkways and parking lots

• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grounds maintenance experience preferred, willing to train the right person.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions while performing physical labor (push, pull, bend, dig, climb, walk, lift and carry 50 lbs.).
• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with other employees, vendors and residents.
• Enjoy working within a small team, along with over 200 coworkers.
• Ability to safely operate standard power equipment for grounds maintenance and snow removal activities.
• Valid driver license strongly preferred.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work as required.
• Bocce skills are a plus!
