Groundskeeper, Sr. jobs in Greenville, SC

Bishop Mays Inc. is looking to hire a groundskeeper. This a a full time position, typically working a Monday-Friday work week. Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Cut grass and trim
• Spray turf treatments
• Fertilizer applications
• Take Soil Samples
• Use Hydroseeder to plant job sites
• Keep Laydown yard at our shop organized
• Use leaf blower to keep parking lot clear of debris
• Keep property and shop clean
• Wash heavy equipment and on road trucks
• Pick up parts

Requirements:

• Drug-free
• Legally eligible to work in the US
• Good driving record
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and thorough
• Must be accountable for conduct and have excellent attendance
• Must be skilled in the use of common landscape equipment, such as riding mowers, tractors, weed eaters, and leaf blowers

Work Environment:

• Routinely lift 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb in and out of equipment unassisted
• Must be able to stand, walk on uneven surfaces, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull
